What is the Printmaking Festival "la Fête de l’estampe"?

Since 2013 Manifestampe — the Fédération nationale de l’estampe (France’s National Federation of Printmaking) — has organized an annual Printmaking Festival. During the 2025 festival, which takes place in May : exhibitions, workshops, conferences, demonstrations and other events are being held in France, the rest of Europe and elsewhere around the world.

Everyone can take part!

While museums and galleries are opening up their collections, anyone, anywhere can share their love of printmaking a wider public by organising events ranging from exhibitions to demonstrations.

Ideally, all festival events should be open to the public on this particular anniversary. But, of course, they can start  before and continue afterwards.

In 2024, 254 events were organised in France and beyond.

 

Fees (details in the rules) :

• free for the Manifesampe's members
• 30 € for the non-members (individual registration, organisation, galery, institution)
• digital communication kit : free of charge
• paper communication kit : 15 €
